Great Book Covers
The Great Gatsby
This is a good book cover because of the same color saturation, between the black and white coloration as well as the simplicity of it. You see a title, a background picture, and then the author's, making it easy on the eyes to see.
Great Day Everyday
This a also great considering the background image is calming or relaxing, and the cover also contains a title and authors name. A similar if not the same font is used for all the text shown, and a small phrase also adds mystery and interest in the book, "Navigating life's challenges".
Terrible Book Covers
Whether you're democratic or republican, you just have to question why there is random pictures of political leaders at the bottom of the cover? I think the cover would have been fine without the figures shown at the bottom. The title gives a negative appeal to myself, and maybe dissuades others to read it as well.
Who?
I consider this one terrible because I find the background image to be intriguing, however, the title of the book doesn't seem to correlate with the image at all. There is a connection between the top part and the bottom by the hard to see unifont science fiction, but the lower section is far more heavily concentrated than the upper section.
